LG introduces world's smallest wireless charger - LGWCP 300



LG Electronics introduced the world's smallest wireless charger at Mobile World Congress 2013. The device is named LG WCP 300 and is not bigger than the palm of our hand. According to the statements of the manufacturer it is the smallest wireless charger in the world. This device is certified Qi (new universal standard for inductive load) should work with any device which supports the standards. The LG smartphones Nexus 4 and Spectrum 2 are also support the wireless charger.
WCP-300 is only 6.9 cm in diameter and comes in round black or white in color. Although small, the surface charge is 1.7 times larger than the previous generation of wireless chargers LG.It is compatible with micro-USB.

The device works uses electromagnetic induction technology, the principle is to emit a magnetic field that will be converted into electricity. Transmitted through the pad to charge devices placed upon, this will recharge the battery. The device is certified by World Power Consortium.
The device will be release next week in South Korea and is expected to be priced at $60.
