Microsoft recently updated the application giving access to YouTube - which runs on Windows Phone in the same way as the YouTube app worked on iOS, before being removed by Apple. He was cool and more beautiful, but also violates a nice number of Google's rules for access to the video site. These violations are serious enough for Google, if you want, remove the service access for everyone who has a Windows Phone at home.
The YouTube app was bad and Microsoft heard the complaints, greatly improving the application. It was light, beautiful and functional. The problem is that it is bumping into some rules of Google, the most serious is that prevents the user to download YouTube content. The app Microsoft allows it. Another problem is that, apparently, the application is not delivering ads that appear before videos. This problem is nifty for those who do not want to see advertising all the time, but it is terrible for letting Google make money it should.
Both failures can create the reason for Google to block access to any Windows Phone to the website through the app. What we need is to wait to see the reaction of Google, Microsoft and reaction. Just fix the flaws and the largest video sharing site in the world can work perfectly on smartphones with Microsoft's platform.
